Brooklyn artist Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson’s sophomore release is an interesting collection of passionate rock anthems with a hint of folk twang. Kyp Malone of TV On the Radio produced Summer of Fear, and his influence is clearly heard with heavy layers instrumentation and noise. Robinson’s vocals – full of fervor and urgency – often sound like a cross between Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. The songs often start out as a lamb and end like a lion. But some of the most enjoyable parts of Summer of Fear are when Robinson calms down and takes his time with “Hard Row” and “Boat.” – Written by DBosket
