Fragile is the first album of all original songs in nearly ten years by Grammy-nominated producer, guitarist and singer/songwriter Bo Ramsey. This is Ramsey’s most realized effort to date, featuring folk guitar arrangements reminiscent of J.J. Cale and Mark Knopfler. Ramsey’s music is heavily influenced by 1950’s Sun Records (rockabilly) and the Chess label (blues), but he is best known for his guitar work on Lucinda William’s Car Wheels On a Gravel Road and guitar and production on Greg Brown records. Performers on “Fragile” include: drummer Steve Hayes (Greg Brown), bassist Jon Penner (Junior Brown), keyboardist Ricky Peterson (Stevie Nicks, John Mayer) and Bo’s son Benson Ramsey (The Pines) on keyboards. Fragile is a solid country record with all the elements of the great records that have influenced Bo over the years.
