Young Londoner Keaton Henson makes his debut on the Anti Records label with his impressive sophomore full length, Birthdays. The perpetually hearbroken troubadour adds a couple of tracks from his 2012 EP Sweetheart, What Have You Done to Us to the album, blending the spare vocals and guitar sound from his first release with a fuller, more intense sound of drums and driving guitar on tracks like “Kronos” and “Don’t Swim.” Lyrically, Henson continues to analyze and pine over past relationships and loves with a ruthlessness that spares no one, himself included.
