Earlier this year, Virginia native and Seattle based Annie Ford is out with her stellar debut album of country and bluegrass, simply titled Annie Ford Band. Ford, along with Matt Manges (drums), pen vivid songs of love and loss, memories of times gone by, and getting by in small town America. Calling upon a variety of country styles, from blues to twang, from boogie to ragtime to classic Americana, Ford changes tunes with ease, a skill honed in her time busking in Seattle’s Pike Place Market.
