Adam Green’s latest solo release, Minor Love, is a more grown-up album compared to his previous releases. Gone are the juvenile songs like “Jessica Simpson” from 03’s Friends of Mine, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely serious. The former member of The Moldy Peaches still has plenty of sarcastic lyrics that Green delivers like a droll, bored Leonard Cohen or Lou Reed. That said, the songs on Minor Love are pretty entertaining and easy to listen to. “Goblin” has a catchy bass-line and “What Makes Him Act So Bad” uses fuzzy guitar to great effect. – Written by DBosket
