The Apples in Stereo wants you to go back to the future with its latest release, Travellers in Space and Time. Self-described by Apples frontman Robert Schneider as “retro-futuristic super-pop,” this seventh studio album is a super kitschy, super shiny, glam disco extravaganza. Tracks have a strong E.L.O. vibe, so if you’re not a fan of “Mr. Blue Sky,” you might want to proceed with caution. However, anyone who enjoys 70’s disco pop and also loves robots (and really, who doesn’t) should be open to taking the sonic trip with The Apples in Stereo. – Written by DBosket
