Keegan DeWitt takes listeners to a variety of places and emotions on Nothing Shows, the follow-up EP to his solo debut, Islands. Originally from Portland, DeWitt studied acting and music on the east coast and has gone on to write scores for eight independent films and is a touring member of the band Roman Candle. DeWitt’s work in films can definitely be heard on Nothing Shows. Each song gives a distinct feeling of a particular moment, emotion or location. Said to be inspired by the poems of Philip Larkin, DeWitt’s songs range from “Michel Bizot,” a lush violin-laden duet with Madi Diaz, to the upbeat, summer block party song, “Say La La.” – Written by DBosket
