London four-piece Trailer Trash Tracys are out with their debut album of experimental pop, Ester. Fusing disparate elements such as Spector-esque girl group doo-wop, the music from Twin Peaks, an animal orchestra, dream-pop, and the eastern-based solfeggio scale (a seven syllable alternative to “do, re, mi”) which is embodied by non-traditional tuned guitar. Ambience and sonic atmospherics abound, with rich reverb and the sweet stylings of lead vocalist Suzanne Aztoria balancing the mix. For a sense of Trailer Trash Tracys’ pop approach, check out tracks “Rolling – Kiss the Universe”, “You Wish You Were Red”, and “Candy Girl.” – Written by SMarx
