Nashville-based singer/songwriter Anderson East is out with his debut double LP, Flowers of the Broken Hearted. The product of a successful Pledge Music campaign, the fifteen songs of love, heartbreak, and death are split among two sides, each side approaching the themes from different angles. Disc One treads the ground of Americana with emotive flourishes of soul while Disc Two is darker and moody, the result of a two part recording process whereby East, who recorded sessions in L.A. with Chris Seefried (Fitz and the Tantrums) returned to Nashville to find he still had something to say.
