Married L.A. musicians David and Meredith Metcalf, together as Bodies of Water, self-released their third album on their new Thousand Tongues label, Twist Again. After weathering many changes over the past couple years – touring across the country, revolving cast of band members, and their 70’s inspired side project Music Go Music – Bodies of Water is back with a tighter, more minimal sound. This time around there is less orchestral pop and more of David’s and Meredith’s vocals. Standout tracks are the opener “One Hand Loves the Other”, “Mary, Don’t You Weep”, and “You Knew Me So Well.” – Written by JFelton
