Cleveland artist Dylan Baldi, the man behind Cloud Nothings, has stepped out with his first full-length release – a quick set of interesting and enjoyable indie pop/punk songs. Just 19 years old, Baldi has a strong understanding of how to write songs that click, pop and boil at just the right amounts. The self-titled release starts off with “Understand At All,” a track that shows off Baldi’s light and breezy vocals and contrasts them with a tight guitar line. “Nothing’s Wrong” and “Heartbeat” have a sped up, almost Alvin & the Chipmunks-like quality to them, which I think isn’t necessary and am glad wasn’t done on the majority of tracks. Stronger songs like “Forget You All The Time” and “Been Through” draw you in with jangly guitars and catchy melodies, not speedy tempos. – Written by DBosket
