CURSIVE | I AM GEMINI
Since the formation of Cursive in 1995, trio Tim Kasher (vocals, guitar), Matt Maginn (bass), and Ted Stevens (guitar, vocals) have recorded six full-lengths, 2 EP’s, singles and even a rarities. Their seventh full-length I Am Gemini is an indie-rock song cycle about the mythical twin brothers Cassius and Pollock (Castor and Pollux). Separated at birth, the two face-off in later life in a struggle of good vs. evil. The thirteen songs, which were written by Kasher in order, feature jangly guitars and hammering drums punctuated by choruses of angels and devils.
