Prolific Canadian singer/songwriter Daniel Romano is out with his seventh studio album, Modern Pressure. The 12 track follow-up to 2016’s Mosey is more spiritual in tone and experimental in sound, filled with catchy melodies, vast instrumentation, and spacious jams. Penned while tucked away in a Scandanavian cabin, highlights in the collection include the title track, “The Pride of Queens”; “Roya”; lead track “Ugly Human Heart”; and “Impossible Green.” Modern Pressure is a lush companion to Mosey, bringing some of the edginess of indie rock together with 1960’s flourishes and flair, resulting in another great addition to Romano’s discography. – Written by SMarx
