Western Kentucky native and singer/songwriter Fate McAfee follows-up his acclaimed 2017 release, Little Bill and the Late Fees, with Diesel Palomino – a set of rambling, country tinged Americana. Diesel Palomino was recorded at Loud and Clear Studios in Paducah, Kentucky with co-producers Shelby Preklas and S. Knox Montgomery (The Savage Radley) with Leonard the Band (Brian Rader, Zack Winding, Adam Rader and Taylor Reader) as his backing band. Album highlights include: the rambling opening track, “Preacherwoman Blues”; the brooding rocker “Stars of Tucumcari”; the emotive travel song “Bolivian Hummingbirds”; the piano-driven rocker and title-track; the soulful “Late Summer Blues”; and the expansive “From a Silo.” Fate McAfee’s Diesel Palomino is an excellent album from start to finish and he is definitely an artist to keep your eye on. – Written by JFelton
