Miami trio Jacuzzi Boys are back and still showing the love for teenage high jinks and crushes on the fun 10 song album, Glazin’. Though firmly rooted in the Magic City, the trio went north to Key Club Studios (Franz Ferdinand, Kingbury Manx, The Kills) in Michigan to polish their lo-fi pop to a fine sheen. Their sophomore album sees the Jacuzzi Boys taking more psychedelic detours, but the three-piece remains at their best in their signature garage pop. The whipsmart and playful band is gaining more press, including a shout out from Iggy Pop; no doubt Glazin’ will bring more recognition as well. Segue out of summer with the chillax numbers like “Cool Vapors”, “Crush” and “Koo Koo With You.” – Written by SMarx
