Mumford & Sons took the world by storm these past couple years with bold and passionate folk rock that charmed audiences around the world. Not only does the band love to play live, it is so integral to their creative process that they composed much of their excellent sophomore release, “Babel” while touring. Following their phenomenal 2009 debut “Sigh No More”, the quartet conjures more of the same infectious melodies, male harmonies, spirited stomping, fingerpicked guitars and clawhammer banjo only more so – amping up the energy to the level of their raucous live shows. Once again Mumford & Sons give us another rousing album which I’m sure will be on many critics’ top album lists at year end. Check out notable tracks “Broken Crown”, “Ghosts That We Knew”, and “Lover of the Light.” – Written by JFelton
