Hailing from Horsefly, British Columbia husband-and-wife duo Pharis and Jason Romero released their third full-length, A Wanderer I’ll Stay. This 12 track set picks-up where 2013’s Long Gone Out West Blues left off and includes the seamless interplay of Pharis’ guitar, Jason’s banjo and their beautiful vocal harmonies. A Wanderer I’ll Stay has a rustic backwoods charm that spans a range of songs, both traditional and original over several genres including bluegrass, country and blues. Recorded with David Travers-Smith (Oh Susanna, the Wailin’ Jennys) in the Romero’s Banjo Company workshop with a few guest musicians playing instruments pedal steel and fiddle rounding out the sound.
