Pony Boy is singer-songwriter Marchelle Bradanini, a Nashville transplant by way of L.A., who creates self-described “junkyard country” music – a mix of dark southern gothic soul, rock, blues and dusty retro pop sounds. Helping round out Brandanini’s sound are producers Adam Landry and Justin Collins (Deer Tick, Middle Brother, Diamond Rugs, T. Hardy Morris) and Robbie Crowell (Deer Tick). Her expressive, smokey vocals are catching a lot of attention, including music featured on the television show, Nashville. Standouts include: the driving “Happy Ever After”, the country tinged “One Man Show”, the wispy heartache of “The Wanderer”, and the baroque county closer “Easy Money.” – Written by JFelton
