Grammy-nominated sibling duo The Secret Sisters are set to release their highly anticipated new album, “Mind, Man, Medicine,” on March 29, 2024. Following their critically acclaimed 2020 album “Saturn Return,” Laura and Lydia Slagle return with a deeply personal record exploring themes of healing, growth, and finding peace after a challenging few years.
The lead single, “Same Water,” reflects on the societal search for healing in a post-pandemic world, showcasing the introspective nature of the album. Produced by The Secret Sisters themselves alongside John Paul White and Ben Tanner, “Mind, Man, Medicine” was recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
The album features a collaboration with Ray LaMontagne and promises a journey through the sisters’ lives, detailing their experiences and the wisdom gained over the past few years. “Mind, Man, Medicine” marks a new chapter for The Secret Sisters, one filled with reflection, acceptance, and a newfound sense of calm. – Jason Felton
