U.S. based Australian native Toby Burke, who also records under the names Horse Stories and Perfect Black Swan, is releasing a full length album titled Mexico City. Recorded over the course of nine days in the title’s namesake, Mexico City showcases Burke’s finely crafted music with guitar, piano and percussion and quiet, beautiful vocals. The collection of songs – which touch upon family, friendship, love and loss – is spare, slightly raw, and mixed in mono, resulting in gentle reverb and atmospherics rich in echos.
