Vandaveer is a Washington D.C. based Americana project that revolves around songwriter/guitarist Mark Charles Heidinger (The Apparitions, These United States) and vocalist Rose Guerin. The group’s third album, Dig Down Deep continues their tradition of storytelling with well developed characters who struggle in love and just getting by. Heidinger’s gentle acoustic guitar shares space with the beautiful boy/girl harmonies, as Guerin’s sweet, haunting voice is a nice counterpart to Heidinger’s deep commanding one.
